Contract | Nights | 4x12 Hours (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care, Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center
• Perform and interpret Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) throughout patient care
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs as required
• Complete charting and documentation using Cerner EMR
• Work every third weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI cards not accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI cards not accepted)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• EFM interpretation skills and experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
