Interventional Technologist – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift | 32 hours per week | Shift times: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM | Every 3rd weekend required | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures utilizing CT imaging technology
• Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment including contrast injector systems
• Accurately document procedures and manage imaging records within PACS and electronic health record systems
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and departmental policies throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care during imaging procedures

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Active Connecticut State Radiographer's License required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT or interventional radiology/special procedures
• Proficiency with GE Revolution HD 128 CT scanner
• Experience with Bayer Medrad Flex Injector
• Familiarity with Epic and Sectra PACS systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital-based interventional radiology or special procedures environment
• Strong ability to work independently during evening hours with rotating weekend availability
