Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Evening/Night Shifts (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM) | 3 Shifts per Week | Weekend shifts required (up to 3 Fri/Sat/Sun shifts per pay period) | Holidays required based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving a large regional population
• Manage and care for a diverse patient population including chest pain and stroke cases
• Care for inpatient boarders within the Emergency Department as needed
• Adapt quickly to rapidly changing patient conditions and department needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, team-oriented approach

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas or Multi-State RN License
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience within the last 12 months
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• NIHSS and Conscious Sedation Competency

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Experience working in a chest pain center or primary stroke center environment
