Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting with an average daily census of 105 and up to 135 visits per day
• Manage patient care across a department with 20 rooms and 26 beds
• Float to the Observation Unit to cover ER hold patients as needed
• Adhere to weekend requirements, working 3 out of every 6 weekends
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for all charting and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Willingness and ability to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (references may include Charge RNs or Lead nurses)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under standard traveler guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency room or observation unit setting
• Familiarity with high-census, fast-paced emergency department environments
