Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pregnant patients and postpartum patients up to six weeks post-delivery
- Perform triage assessments and labor checks in a Women and Children's unit setting
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal status throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- AWHONN Beginner or Intermediate certification required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- Previous experience as a Charge RN is a plus
