Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Cath Lab / EP Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Days — 4 x 10-Hour Shifts, Monday through Thursday; call only Monday–Thursday with minimal weekend call (approximately 1 weekend every 4 months)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment prior to cases
• Instruct and educate patients before and during procedures
• Monitor patient condition and provide routine and emergency care throughout procedures
• Contribute to the orientation and training of new team members
• Support daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Must hold one of the following certifications: ARRT-R (with MRT through the TX Medical Board), RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior hands-on experience in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology lab setting
• Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) with an interest in transitioning into the Cath Lab are encouraged to apply
