Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as operationally needed
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4–5 while maintaining safe and effective care standards
• Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring as part of routine patient care
• Maintain availability for weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring
• Valid RN compact or state license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
