Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology/Cardiology Tech

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:00–15:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab setting, including pediatric and adult transplant right/left heart catheterization, balloon procedures, stent placements, and valve placements
• Assist with biopsy procedures and interventional radiology cases, preferably in a pediatric environment
• Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
• Operate within a two-room cath lab environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols including use of a radiation badge
• Document and chart patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required by facility policy, including during hurricane season

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• CCI certification with RCIS or RCES, OR ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by the placing agency)
• Must meet state licensure requirements prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab environment
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Pediatric interventional radiology experience
