Registered Nurse – Outpatient EP (Electrophysiology)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite | Outpatient Ambulatory Setting

Key Responsibilities

• Support the EP Device Division by utilizing remote monitoring platforms for patient reports and alerts
• Assist the back-office Medical Assistant team by handling higher-level patient advice requests
• Triage urgent patient symptoms and escalate care as appropriate
• Supervise and support Stress Test procedures
• Provide clinical support for adult cardiac patient consultations and follow-up visits in an ambulatory cardiology office setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of California (must be in hand within 2 weeks of application; compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Experience in Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) nursing
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to commit to contracted schedule, including 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EP technician experience strongly preferred
• Cardiac device management experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with remote cardiac monitoring platforms (e.g., MURJ)
