Interventional Radiology / Cardiology Technologist

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 10 interventional radiology cases per day within a 3-room IR department serving adult and geriatric patients
• Assist with neuro and vascular interventional procedures including biopsies, peripheral procedures, stroke procedures, kyphoplasty, and nephrogram procedures
• Perform and support hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures
• Operate imaging equipment including Siemens, Philips, Toshiba, and GE systems
• Participate in weekday backup call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday) and weekend/holiday call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) as required
• Float within scope to meet department and system needs, including potential float to a nearby affiliate location

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Experience in neuro and vascular interventional procedures, biopsies, peripheral procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke procedures, kyphoplasty, and nephrogram procedures required
• Active ARRT-R certification required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist (RT) license or valid Compact license required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT-VI certification and fluoroscopy permit preferred
• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma center experience preferred
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system preferred
