Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed orthopedic and medical-surgical unit serving adult through geriatric populations
• Care for high-volume orthopedic patients including those recovering from total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
• Manage inpatient and 24-hour observation patients with medical diagnoses
• Utilize telemetry monitoring capabilities as part of patient care
• Float to other campus locations as needed
• Serve as Charge RN on assigned shifts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic post-surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing alongside orthopedic care
