Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Weekends required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting, including patients with varying acuity levels
• Deliver care to both adult and pediatric patients in alignment with unit protocols and scope of practice
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including working 2 out of 3 winter holidays and availability around designated high-need periods

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; TNCC required (pending accepted at submission but must be obtained before start)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma Center experience, or at least 2 years of Level 2 Trauma Center experience, including some pediatric experience
• Epic experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Experience working in high-acuity trauma environments
• Comfort managing a diverse patient population including pediatric cases
