Contract (8 Weeks) | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents during night shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and document resident health status and changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact eligibility
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in LTC/SNF environments
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced care setting
