Contract | 4x12-Hour Day Shifts (11:00–23:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department with up to 62 beds, maintaining a maximum 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio for regular ED patients
• Manage progressive and medical hold assignments, including higher acuity ratios as needed
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, IV insertion, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation administration
• Operate and monitor CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients; maintain isolation precautions
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity when assigned — willingness to work charge is required
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is 100% mandatory for all travelers

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license — must be in hand prior to submission
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience
• Must have at least Level 2 trauma center experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and PALS
• Indiana residents are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience managing behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
