Contract | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | 13 to 26 week options available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care Med/Surg Telemetry setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess neurological status of patients, applying neuro-specific nursing interventions
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends as assigned
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience
• Neuro experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (night shift Adult Medical Tele/Progressive Care designation applies)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity telemetry or progressive care environment
• Familiarity with floating protocols across multiple units or campuses
