Contract (13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice) | Days, 3x12 or 4x12 (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care to a diverse patient population in a large-volume, high-census facility with high-risk obstetric patients
• Manage a standard caseload of 4 couplets, with the ability to surge to an additional couplet as census demands
• Administer and monitor Magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley catheter management; manage postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal cases
• Participate in second-hour recovery support on Labor and Delivery as part of float responsibilities
• Float to sister campuses' postpartum units as required by assignment needs
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) and fulfill 6 weekend days per contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience with high-acuity patients
• Valid RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required (hard stop)
• Experience with Magnesium administration and monitoring (hard stop)
• High-risk obstetric care experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
• 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with JADA system for postpartum hemorrhage management
• First-time travelers welcome with qualifying experience and demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity census surges
