Contract | Nights (4x12, 19:00–07:30) | 13 or 26 weeks (traveler choice)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care to a diverse patient population in a large-volume, high-census facility with high-risk obstetric patients
• Manage up to 4 couplets as standard census, with potential for surge management
• Administer and monitor Magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley catheter care
• Recognize and respond to postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal in the postpartum setting
• Float as required to nearby campuses for postpartum coverage and Labor & Delivery second-hour recovery
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) and 6 weekend days per contract

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience with high-acuity patients
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required (hard stop)
• High-risk obstetric care experience required
• Experience with Magnesium administration and monitoring required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with JADA system for postpartum hemorrhage management
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted if all other requirements are met)
• Experience managing substance withdrawal in the postpartum population
