Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a BMT Oncology unit with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and an average daily census of 30 across 32 beds
• Administer chemotherapy and support autologous stem cell transplant patients
• Administer blood and blood products; manage central lines, PICC lines, implanted ports, and peripheral IVs
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation; must pass Relias EKG exam — Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required
• Manage Foley catheters, administer antibiotics and antiemetics, and maintain isolation precautions
• Float throughout the Oncology department as needed; assignment to a specific unit is not guaranteed each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — Missouri license or compact license accepted (compact must match permanent residence); Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 1 year of Oncology experience required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• ONS/ONCC certification required
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS required (ACLS must be obtained by compliance deadline)
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with autologous stem cell transplants
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Experience with central line blood draws and implanted port access/management
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
