Contract | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week | Rotating Days and Nights (schedule rotates every 4 weeks) | Day shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night shift: 19:00–7:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting with expected patient ratios of 1:1–2
• Manage and monitor critically ill patients experiencing conditions such as multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV Pump, GE Cardiac Monitor, and GE Ventilator
• Perform continuous glucose monitoring for hyperglycemia management and utilize externalized IV pumps for COVID-positive patients
• Document accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system (EPIC experience required)
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience
• EPIC experience required
• Active BCLS certification (AHA only)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Active NIHSS certification (AHA only)
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership capacity (charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Specialized experience with COVID, post-cardiac arrest care, and renal failure management
• Familiarity with continuous glucose monitoring protocols and externalized IV pump procedures
• Experience with boom lift equipment in patient room environments
