Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Alternating Weekends | No Call Requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications throughout the assignment
- Demonstrate SVE competency and C-section circulation skills
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Demonstrated competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and SVE
- C-section circulation experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Previous experience in a Level IV or high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
- Prior experience with HCA-affiliated facilities
