Contract | Rotating Day/Night | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite — Rotation occurs every 4 weeks: traveler is assigned the same straight shift for 4 consecutive weeks, then rotates to the opposite shift for the following 4 weeks, and so on. Every other weekend required (Friday & Saturday).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) serving a diverse patient population including oncology, surgical, COPD, sepsis, pneumonia, and other medical diagnoses.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias; respond appropriately to telemetry findings.
• Administer and manage IV insulin protocols and insulin drips per unit standards.
• Float within the facility as required to support staffing needs across units.
• Work within a secured corrections unit environment, coordinating access and patient care in compliance with facility and departmental security protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across rotating day and night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (note: candidates with exactly 1 year of experience will require manager review and are not eligible for expedited offers).
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required and must be in hand at time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Previous telemetry experience required.
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Locals are welcome and accepted.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips.
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills.
• Experience caring for oncology patients, including solid tumor and hematology diagnoses.
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are eligible to apply).
