Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 4 x 9-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, rotating day off | Expected 36 hours/week | Call requirements include one weeknight per week (4:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and one weekend (48 hours) of call approximately every 6–7 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary circulating RN for surgical cases across multiple service lines in a small community hospital OR setting
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with surgical patients throughout perioperative care
• Participate in room turnovers alongside all OR team members as part of a collaborative, team-based culture
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weeknight and weekend call shifts as scheduled
• Operate standard OR equipment and document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Assist on other units for 1:1 support during low-census periods on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Maine
• Minimum of 5 years of OR circulating experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (for on-call coverage)
• Experience working in a smaller facility OR with exposure to multiple service lines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, and/or ENT
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-player mentality with willingness to assist across all OR functions
• Adaptability and comfort working in a community hospital environment
