Contract | Full-Time | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an ENT and Plastic Surgery unit, including management of patients with cuffed/cuffless tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, free flap monitoring, and carotid blowout precautions
• Perform and manage drain care, wound care, tube feeding, and post-operative flap monitoring
• Maintain central line management, IV access, and phlebotomy within scope of practice
• Monitor patients via telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in condition; telemetry experience is required
• Float within service line to meet facility needs as required
• Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); Missouri license may be submitted pending at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; candidates with 1+ year of experience in a Level I or Teaching Facility may be considered
• ACLS certification required by compliance document deadline
• BCLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• Must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be finalized at time of submission; no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in ENT, head and neck, or plastic surgery nursing
• Familiarity with tracheostomy and laryngectomy patient care, including total laryngectomy management
• Experience with free flap monitoring and post-operative surgical care
• Previous travel nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
