CT Technologist UNIT DETAILS This position is responsible for working directly with patients and assisting radiologists and/or staff physicians while administering ionizing radiation in the course of computerized tomography (CT) examinations in concordance with physician’s orders. This professionally trained person will be responsible for the operation of CT scanners, flow rate injectors, an EKG monitoring system, a picture archiving system. This position is responsible for the use of radiographic supplies including iodinated contrast while providing patient care and patient safety as established by department standards. This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic secretarial, clerical and housekeeping functions such as customer service, examination and work area cleaning, telephone communications, computer system data entry, information retrieval, (HIS, RIS, PACS), and infection control. This position, in addition to superb technical skills, will also require the ability to follow the CRMC service commitments to customers and fellow staff. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED 2 years of experience BLS required CT Certification Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) as a CT Technologist preferred. SHIFT 36 hours/week Thursday 9a-9:30p Friday 10a-10:30p Saturday 11a-11:30p SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS $1.15 (if work 4 or more hours between 3p-11p) $1.65 (if work 4 or more hours between 11p-7a) $3.00 (weekends- if work between 11p Friday night to 7a Monday morning) $4.00 (holidays) SALARY $26.14-$31.54 per hour depending on experience BENEFITS AND PERKS $7,500 sign on bonus OR up to $3,500 loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation.
