Cardiovascular Radiology Tech Good Samaritan Hospital Full-Time – Days/ 8 Hour Shifts – Rotating Weekends  Good Samaritan Hospital  has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient’s access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology. Our 470+ bed facility is a recognized  leader in advanced cardiology services and provides a full array of diagnostic and interventional coronary peripheral services. Other specialized programs include echocardiography, Vascular Sonograph and EKG services. Good Samaritan is a Joint Commission Accredited comprehensive stroke center. We are also one of 3 hospitals in the US to receive a  5th consecutive Outstanding Achievement Award  from the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer. Among these accomplishments, our facility is a Bay Area Parent Magazine Hall of Fame recipient for “Best Place to Have a Baby”, complete with a CC S certified Level III neonatal ICU with pediatric surgery specialization. Job Summary and Qualifications Under general supervision, operates fluoroscopic x-ray equipment. Provides clinically proficient and professional patient care. Assists in the performance of cardiac catheterization and other related procedures, including neuro, EP and peripheral procedures. Assists in inventory, quality improvement/assurance, patient follow-up and data collection programs. Oversees radiology programs. What qualifications you will need: ·          Current California and ARRT Registered X-Ray license ·          Current California Fluoroscopy License ·          Current BCLS/ACLS certification ·          Minimum 2 years training at an approved school of Radiologic Technology ·          Two years of experience preferred in a cardiac cath lab or similar area experience ·          Preferred Experience working in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or Interventional Radiology Department  KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS : Cardiovascular anatomy and physiology Hemodynamic monitoring, Aseptic Techniques, Computer Knowledge Ability to operate radiological Equipment, patient observation and critical thinking and knowledgeable of Title 17. Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system. Shift Details:  3 CV Rad Tech Openings. 1 is 32 Hours per Week & the other 2 are 40 Hours per Week
