Pharmacy Technician Customer Care Coordinator

  • Location: Doral, FL 33122

  • Shifts: Rotating schedule to cover opening and closing 
    • Monday- Friday – 9 am – 5:30 pm when opening
    • 10 am – 7:00 pm when closing 
    • Weekends are on a rotating schedule and require 1 Saturday and  1 Sunday per month (10 am – 2:30 pm)
  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Pay: $18+ Depending on Experience and if they have Pharm Tech License 

  • Our Musts: EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service and Florida Pharmacy Tech License

Pharmacy Technician Customer Care Coordinator 

This role is all about helping your patients’ dreams of having a family come true. You’ll use your empathy and good listening skills to handle inbound calls from patients and learn more about their medical history and challenges with fertility. This is not your average customer service job – you’ll enjoy the rewarding experience of helping our patients and working for a company that truly cares about people.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with both patients and physicians to coordinate fertility plans and medications.
  • Own the patient experience through resolving customer issues and ensuring 100% follow-up to customers.
  • Provide patients with price quotes, order status, and non-clinical case updates.
  • Use your attention to detail and listening skills to accurately obtain and enter patient information, including shipping, insurance and payment information.

What you need to do the job:

  • Be Tech Savvy, Data Entry & Microsoft Outlook are a must.
  • Have Excellent Customer Service Skills; be inquisitive, analytical and investigative and do it with keeping the customer in mind.
  • Be Efficient – attention to detail, organization skills, time management, and problem solving skills will be important.
  • Be Flexible; Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment; willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed.
  • Be A Strong Communicator; Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be registered with State of Florida Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or be enrolled/willing to enroll as a Pharmacy Technician student with a Board-Certified training program.
  • Additional training in pharmacy/medical benefit access and requirements preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-year proven work experience in a healthcare or customer service industry.
  • Healthcare experience with a basic understanding of clinical terms and benefits investigation preferred.
  • Previous experience in a call center preferred where performance was measured.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Must be registered with the State of Florida Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Or be enrolled/willing to enroll as a pharmacy technician student in a Board of Pharmacy approved training program.
  • PTCB Certification is a PLUS (Not Required.)

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of medication brand and generic names.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
