Cardiac: post transplant, CHD, heart defects, heart failure, lung transplant, high risk arrhythmia, post cardiac cath
Cardiac population
Combined ICU/TCU/Stepdown unit; includes floor status patients preparing for discharge
Patient ratios 1:1-3
ICU and stepdown assigned together
High level ICU care and complex discharges
Ratio- 1:2, 1:1, 1:3 for all shifts
Avg. Daily Census: 23
Will float to float to PICU and NICU
Travelers can also be called upon to float to floors as an RN Assist to provide 1:1 observation for safety and behavioral health purposes.
Every other weekend required
draw own labs, phlebotomy available
central lines
bronchoscopy
chest tubes
assist with intubation
2 years experience preferred
Will accept first time travelers
