L&D RNs needed for MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital
Experience-2 recent full-time years in an academic Level III or IV regional perinatal center.
ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM- required
Epic- preferred
3/12s, Nights, 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Call- 1 shift per 4 week schedule
South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
MUSC delivers approximately 2,700 patients annually. Labor and Delivery, consists of 9 LDRs, 2 ORs, 2 PACU beds, and 2 Triage rooms. In addition to vaginal and cesarean deliveries, L&D provides operative services such as cerclage and tubal ligation. Medical support includes management of gestational/chronic diabetes, hypertension, and other high risk antepartum conditions including acceptance of high risk maternal transports from the region. Electronic Fetal Monitoring is available in all beds. Perinatal palliative care is available as needed.The staffing mix includes Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technicians and Unit Secretaries.
