***Current Turnaround Time From Submittal to Offer is 23-25 Days*** PERMANENT POSITION Salary info: $30.23 – $50.03hr plus shift differentials, eves $3hr and nights $3.50hr. Weekend eves $5hrl Weekend Nights, $6hr Bonus: Up to 20k. 1/2 hire, 1/2 after 12 months Relocation: Up to 5k Unit Info: The UVa Operating Room provides a unique opportunity for RN’s without experience to have on the job training in the operating room. The Main OR houses 29 OR rooms and 1 Procedure Room; along with a General Urology and 2 OR Rooms in the West Complex. The unit also utilizes 2 hybrid OR’s for minimally invasive, high risk vascular and cardiac procedures; along 2 Imris Suites: Magnetic Resonance Imaging with Angiography. The orientation periop training period includes 5 weeks of classroom training (computer modules and didactics simulation) and a 19 week clinical circulation rotation through all specialty services. These specialty services include: general , pediatric, transplant, GU, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Eye, Ortho, Neurosurgery, Complex Spine, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, and Dental/Pain Facility Highlights: UVA Health is a world-class academic medical center and health system with a level 1 trauma center, a nationally recognized cancer center, and UVA Children’s.
