General Information
Tell us about the unit(s): ·Number of Beds – 32 Rooms, will create semi-private up to ~40 (Not currently using Semi-private set up) ·Number of Staff – 60 (Not fully Staffed) ·Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 Clinical Coordinator (CC), 6 RNs, 2-3 Patient Care Techs/CNAs, 1 Unit Secretary (At least M-F, occasionally S/S) o Night Shift – 1 CC or Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2-3 PCTs/CNAs, 1 Unit Secretary until 11pm (M-F) ·Patient Ratios – Typically 5-6:1 ·Type of equipment – BiPAP (Stable), Mid/HighFLow, PD, Cardiac Drips (non-titrated), Heparin Gtts, Phillips Cardiac Monitors ·EMR – Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ·Willing to work weekends as assigned ·Ability to work with admission/discharge high turnover daily. ·No history of attendance concerns Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Positive outgoing attitude · Good understanding of HCAHP importance List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Mainly Cardio-pulmonary and renal care patients with many comorbid conditions. All cardiac monitored Currently caring for stable med/surge level Covid19 Patients (usually 4-8 on the floor) Best personality Fit: · Positive ‘can do’ attitude · Works well within team ·Self-motivated and self-accountability
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. ·Scrub Color – navy ·All shoes are allowed as long as closed toe and heel.
Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Visible and involved leadership on all shifts from Director, Manager, and CCs on the unit and great off shift support from the Nursing Supervisor Great teamwork across all shifts and throughout the whole team Nurses with varying experiences from 20 years to new graduates Collaborative work environment with strong relationships with physicians Fully Staffed PCT/CNA allotment (7 days and 7 nights, allowing for up to 3 per shift)
