Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location
• Texarkana, TX

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide independent nursing care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients
• Address the physiological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, providing compassionate and comprehensive care
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions and treatments, identifying needs and available resources
• Make appropriate clinical judgments, delegate tasks, and coordinate care to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Emergency Department or related nursing specialty
• Ability to attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working in multiple ED locations or diverse clinical settings
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
