Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, dayshift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing activities in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and Phase II care for surgical patients.
• Monitor local anesthesia patients in the operating room and provide sedation for select procedures.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care through the application of the nursing process, standards of care, and hospital policies.
• Act as a patient advocate, supervising and directing assigned personnel as needed.
• Support staff in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compassionate perioperative environment.
• Be available for on-call duties in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit on a scheduled rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Experience in PACU or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Strong patient monitoring and sedation skills.
• Knowledge of applicable standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a surgical or recovery setting.
• Certification in ACLS or PALS.
