Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for labor and delivery patients in a busy acute care hospital.
• Precept and mentor junior staff and new team members.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Float between designated hospital units and affiliate facilities as needed.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and comfort.
• Document patient interactions accurately using Epic electronic charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in labor and delivery or maternity nursing.
• Current ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, FHM, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Strong caregiving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience precepting or mentoring new nurses.
• Experience working in a hospital with a focus on mother-baby care or neonatal units.
• Comfort with floating across units and within affiliated hospitals.
