• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, working every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for critically ill children, including procedures such as continuous nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, and insulin drips for DKA.
• Manage patients on the general pediatric floor with conditions requiring care for 3-4 patients.
• Adhere to unit protocols utilizing EPIC electronic charting and medication systems.
• Badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs or child-friendly scrub tops with navy blue pants.
• Float to NICU, OB, and other units as needed, including caring for grower/feeder patients and assisting with safety and house-wide emergencies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to manage patients in PICU and general pediatric units.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience, including PICU.
• Experience with EPIC or similar computerized charting systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a PICU setting.
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients requiring ventilator support and complex treatments.
• Flexibility to float between units, including NICU and OB.
