Key Responsibilities
- Provide care and services in a safe, efficient manner following location standards and individualized resident care plans.
- Recruit, hire, and staff the work area effectively using accurate scheduling systems.
- Manage resources to promote a high-quality work environment and ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
- Lead and monitor electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including training, documentation, and reporting.
- Participate in state and federal survey processes, including writing and implementing plans of correction.
- Conduct and oversee ongoing resident assessments, ensuring care plans are up-to-date and effective.
- Ensure residents’ rights are protected, including offering choices in care and preventing neglect or abuse.
- Maintain accurate resident records and ensure timely communication with physicians regarding resident conditions.
- Train staff on scheduling systems and participate in care conferences and special initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current registered nurse (RN) licensure for the state of practice
- CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of nursing practices and medication management
- Experience with EMR systems and regulatory compliance
