Key Responsibilities

• Provide care and services in a safe, efficient manner following location standards and individualized resident care plans.
• Recruit, hire, and staff the work area effectively using accurate scheduling systems.
• Manage resources to promote a high-quality work environment and ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
• Lead and monitor electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including training, documentation, and reporting.
• Participate in state and federal survey processes, including writing and implementing plans of correction.
• Conduct and oversee ongoing resident assessments, ensuring care plans are up-to-date and effective.
• Ensure residents’ rights are protected, including offering choices in care and preventing neglect or abuse.
• Maintain accurate resident records and ensure timely communication with physicians regarding resident conditions.
• Train staff on scheduling systems and participate in care conferences and special initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current registered nurse (RN) licensure for the state of practice
• CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of nursing practices and medication management
• Experience with EMR systems and regulatory compliance
