Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment requiring advanced critical care skills.
• Monitor and respond quickly to changes in hemodynamics and respiratory status, providing timely interventions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill patients.
• Serve as an advocate and educator for patients and their families, ensuring understanding of care procedures.
• Provide care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post-open-heart procedures, and those on continuous cardiac infusions or non-invasive ventilation.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, high-acuity care.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ICU experience.
• IMC/PCU experience preferred.
• Valid MD RN license or compact license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for critically ill patients with complex conditions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment.
