Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and transport for patients during night shifts.
• Operate Zoll cardiac monitors and Baxter & Alaris IV pumps.
• Perform procedures such as IV insertion and medication administration.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with medical teams and follow unit policies for behavioral health and transport services.
• Maintain all required certifications and adhere to safety and dress code standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of full-time active pre-hospital care experience or equivalent.
• Over 21 years of age.
• Two years of satisfactory driving experience meeting insurance guidelines.
• Valid North Carolina Paramedic Certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• Current ACLS, PALS, PHTLs/ITLS, and BLS certifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Boarded with Buncombe County Medical Director.
• Bachelor's degree in EMS or related field.
• Certification through the National Registry.
