Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3x12 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units in accordance with hospital standards.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including ECG rhythm recognition, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Administer medications safely following facility protocols, utilizing safeMedicate procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Complete necessary assessments and document patient progress accurately.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain compliance with facility requirements.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown nursing prior to travel.
• Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments with passing scores.
• Negative drug screen (10-panel + nicotine) within the last 12 months; nicotine-free status required unless exempt.
• Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel experience in cardiac stepdown units acceptable.
• Experience with PCU/Progressive Care units is a plus.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday shift.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
