Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical neurological patients in a 30-bed Neuro PCU.
• Monitor patients via Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD).
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all healthcare protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, including neuro PCU.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with CVA, external CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing Screen.
• Knowledge of EPIC electronic health records.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience.
• Experience in neuro and cardiac monitoring.
• Flexibility to float across all Cone Health facilities.
• Ability to pass the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs.
