- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 Hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
- Manage airway interventions and ventilated patients
- Monitor and interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias
- Administer and titrate IV medications including vasopressors and sedation
- Implement infection control and isolation precautions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and stabilize patients
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of recent ICU experience
- Valid nursing license (in hand or compact)
- Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS (current and valid)
- Experience with airway management, ventilated patients, and dysrhythmias
- Ability to manage complex patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
- Strong triage, documentation, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neuro patients and neuro-specific procedures
- Familiarity with ER triage and management of post-surgical neuro patients
- Ability to float between units as needed
