Key Responsibilities
- Assist Radiologists during interventional procedures, including scrubbing and room coordination.
- Schedule and code procedures, ensure proper documentation, and perform post-procedure film processing with charting and billing.
- Operate equipment such as the Toshiba IR machine, Siemens Ultrasound, and Sectra PACS within the department.
- Work independently on smaller cases and in pairs for larger angiography procedures, with on-call rotation including evenings and weekends.
- Support floating to other departments, primarily in CT and Ultrasound, to assist with procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- ARRT(R) certification.
- BLS certification.
- North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration (NDMIRT).
- Physical ability to badge in and out at the facility and perform procedural tasks.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
- Experience with ultrasound procedures and post-procedure coding.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of scheduling, billing, and equipment used in interventional radiology.
