Key Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative and interventional radiology nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Follow all safety and procedural protocols accurately.
• Complete documentation and patient records in compliance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year Cath lab experience with IR crossover.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Over 1 year of interventional radiology experience.
• Prior experience working in a NICU-free facility.

Additional Details

• On-call shifts required:
  • Monday-Friday evenings (1600-0730): 4-5 shifts/month.
  • Weekends (73 hours shift): 3-4 shifts/month.
  • 1-2 holiday on-call shifts per year.
• Orientation available on weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, with upcoming start dates on 12/8 or 12/15.
• Bi-weekly pay; minimal no-bill orientation hours; facility is nicotine-free.
• Client allows cancellation of one shift per pay period at no cost or pay deduction.
• Candidates must be submitted via the KU Submittal Form.
