Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple acute behavioral health units.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, ensuring safety and compliance with treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including BHAs and house supervisors, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Adhere to facility policies related to restraints, safety, and patient rights.
• Float between units as needed within the facility to support staffing needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct psychiatric and acute care nursing experience.
• Current state nursing license.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification (provided onsite).
• Ability to complete the Wisconsin caregiver background check onsite prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting with children and adults.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work block schedules with every other weekend.
