Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, temporary, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide social work services in an emergency room setting for adult patients.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to support patient needs.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient interactions using electronic health record systems.
• Offer emotional support and resource guidance to patients and families.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Alaska LMSW or LCSW license (pending license is acceptable).
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care or emergency room social work experience.
• Current AK license as LMSW or LCSW.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma or Magnet-certified hospital.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
