• Full-time, temporary (13-week travel assignment), onsite, night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Perform procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to unit policies and procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems, including Meditech.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
• Assist in managing patient acuity and flow in a 52-bed emergency department.

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH certification
• Experience in large hospital settings or travel nursing roles
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records
• Experience in large emergency departments of 52 beds or more
• Strong ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume, diverse environment
