Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients in a busy trauma and stroke center.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and basic wound care.
• Start IVs, manage surgical drains, and monitor vital signs with telemetry equipment.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
• Support patients and families, including bedside report and education initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform basic procedures like IV starts and wound care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma or acute care settings.
• Familiarity with advanced monitoring and infusion devices.
