Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit, including oncology and chemotherapy patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient outcomes and safety
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and physician orders
• Utilize Meditech electronic medical records system for documentation and patient tracking
• Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and shift huddles to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with all unit policies, including bedside reporting and patient-centered care

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in the state of Virginia or appropriate state license for travel nursing
• BLS/BLSD certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical acute care experience
• Experience with IV pumps and oncology or chemotherapy procedures preferred
• Positive, energetic personality with a strong teamwork ethic

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology and chemotherapy experience
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
