Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for elective surgical cases, including orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, general, plastics, gynecology, robotic, and urology procedures.
• Assist with perioperative patient preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain sterile environments and operate OR equipment effectively.
• Document patient data accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Adapt to support a team-oriented, fast-paced surgical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Current nursing licensure.
• Ability to handle elective surgical cases with no trauma cases involved.
• Knowledge of OR equipment and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic/spine surgeries.
• Cardiac/vascular (CV) surgery experience.
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted procedures.
• Flexible personality and adaptability to shift schedules.
