Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Days shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgeries in a busy OR setting.
• Assist with general, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotic surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including trauma, neuro, and heart teams, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with unit policies and procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech Electronic Medical Record system.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and excellent communication skills.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience is required.
• Ability to work the scheduled days shift (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM).

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with general, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, orthopedic, GYN, and robotic surgeries.
• Familiarity with OR equipment and Meditech EMR system.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
