Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Travel, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
- Assist with procedures such as cervical exams, IV starts, FSE and IUPC placements, and circulating cesarean sections.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional maternal and neonatal care.
- Adhere to best practices and hospital policies, maintaining accurate documentation in Meditech and Centricity systems.
- Support unit operations, including triage, transport, and responding to emergencies efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Valid RN license with relevant state licensure.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to rotating schedules.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract experience in labor and delivery units.
- Knowledge of advanced tools such as fetal monitors, Cook's catheters, and fetal pillows.
- Experience with new technologies and participating in a collaborative, growth-oriented team.
